Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Tomatoes (diced or canned)
  • 2 Green peppers (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Butter or olive oil
  • Salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes
  • Fresh Turkish bread

Steps

  1. Heat butter or olive oil in your camp pan. Sauté the chopped green peppers for 2-3 minutes until soft.
  2. Add the diced tomatoes. Cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
  3. Pour in the beaten eggs, add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir gently on low heat for 1-2 minutes until cooked but still juicy.

Ingredients

  • 100g Turkish Sucuk (sliced)
  • Half a loaf of fresh Turkish bread
  • 1 Tomato (sliced)
  • 1 Small onion (sliced, optional)
  • Thyme and red pepper flakes

Steps

  1. Place sliced sucuk onto a dry camp pan on medium heat. No extra oil is needed as sucuk releases its own fat.
  2. Cook for 2 minutes on each side. Press the inside of your cut bread onto the sucuk to soak up the flavorful oil.
  3. Place the cooked sucuk inside the bread, add tomato and onion slices, sprinkle with thyme, and enjoy immediately.

  • 4 tbsp Tahini (sesame paste)

Steps

  1. Pour the tahini and grape molasses into your camping bowl.
  2. Mix them together with a spoon. The mixture will quickly thicken into a rich, sweet spreadable paste.
  3. Top with crushed walnuts and a pinch of cinnamon. Eat with a spoon or spread onto bread.
